THOMAS KNIGHT

Joining Authenware in 2009 as Vice President of U.S. Sales, Thomas Knight develops and implements dynamic and industrious sales models, penetrating new markets and attracting high-performance partnerships.

Knight brings to this position more than 14 years of experience in the security industry. For nearly a decade of his career, Knight served McAfee, Inc. in various capacities, including Regional Director of Sales, Director of Mergers & Acquisitions, Managing Director of EMEA, and leader of SMB Channel Sales in North America. His leadership and insight migrated McAfee from a direct to an indirect sales model, increasing sales by 22 percent annually. Additionally, Knight brought aggressive recruiting campaigns to fruition, and in effect, grew the number of contributing channel partners from 500 to 2,000.

From 2007 to 2008, Knight drove quarterly growth of 25 to 30 percent at Deep Nines, Inc., as the Vice President of Sales. While serving the software developer, he implemented a public-sector sales process and methodology that yielded increased activity while augmenting leverage with the partner community.

Most recently, Knight served as Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Unitrends, Inc. – a next-generation software innovator. During his tenure, Knight focused on implementing a channel-committed sales model to drive growth while leading the sales team to re-engineer processes and initiate best practices.

Knight received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Georgia State University and his Masters of Business Administration from Pepperdine University. From 1981 to 1987, Knight proudly served in the United States Marine Corps as an enlisted reservist.
